About the Ohio River League
Cincinnati and Pittsburgh
The Ohio River League (ORL) is a premier developmental youth soccer league serving the Ohio River Valley, with active regions in Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. ORL, sanctioned by US Club Soccer, provides an environment focused on player growth, fostering a sporting spirit, and building a collaborative community for youth athletes and their families. Through competitive play balanced with an emphasis on sportsmanship, ORL aims to nurture not only athletic skills but also personal values that extend beyond the field.
Guided by the Player’s First philosophy, ORL places the player experience at the heart of every initiative, promoting individualized growth, skill development, and long-term success. The league’s commitment to supporting players of all skill levels ensures that each participant has access to quality coaching, structured competitions, and supportive resources. Registration is required of all players participating in US Club Soccer-operated or -sanctioned programming. Players who are not currently registered with US Club Soccer are not allowed to participate in US Club Soccer programming.

Postseason
PRE-ECNL Ohio Valley teams are encouraged to participate in US Club Soccer State Cup Events such as the Great Lakes Alliance’s The Ohio State Cup (Ohio based teams) or the Tr-State Cup (WV, WPA and WNY based teams).
