About GLA MDL, an NPL League
The Midwest Developmental League (MDL), founded in 2011, is an elite National Premier League (NPL) operating under the Great Lakes Alliance Soccer League. The league is dedicated to developing youth soccer players, offering a platform that promotes skill advancement, competitive match environments, and increased exposure to college recruiting opportunities.
The MDL will encompass teams from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Upstate New York as well as Central and Western Pennsylvania. The conferences will be divided geographically to try to minimize travel as much as possible.

Registration is required of all players participating in US Club Soccer-operated or -sanctioned programming. Players who are not currently registered with US Club Soccer are not allowed to participate in US Club Soccer programming.
